MEET Nicholas

Photographer, father to two young boys, canoeist, fly angler, fly tier and teller of stories.

Through authentic visual story telling, I help brands, guides and outfitters connect with the outdoor and fly fishing community.

The outdoors isn’t just my workspace, it’s where I find purpose and inspiration. From the quiet anticipation of loading a canoe the night before a trip to the thrill of landing the fish of a lifetime, every moment is part of the adventure. I strive to capture it all. 

My photography journey began on the coast of James Bay, where I first picked up a camera to capture the northern lights and life in a remote northern community. That spark led to creating a travel blog documenting explorations across Asia and the Middle East. When my work caught the attention of a popular travel publication, my passion for visual story telling turned into a professional pursuit. 

Today, I craft visual narratives that capture wilderness and fly fishing adventures and help brands connect with their target audience.

While many product shoots are staged, I prefer to curate an experience where your gear is not just worn but truly relied upon, tested in the elements, and used as intended in the outdoors.
